What does a wig service include?
- Washing and Drying of synthetic wigs. We use a specialised wig oven to speed up the drying of the synthetic wigs. You can drop off your wig with us, go for coffee or lunch and come back in 1.5 hours to collect the dry wig. Alternatively, a lot of clients leave their wigs with us overnight. Whatever suits you best.
- Thinning and trimming of synthetic wigs can be done. However, we cannot cut and trim into a completely different hairstyle. Depending on the cap design I can add a “bang” or a fringe.
- We will breathe new life into an old wig. This is done by steaming out frizzy ends to make them smooth again. You will get a few extra months of wear out of the wig after this.

Washing and blow drying Human Hair wigs.
- Cutting and Styling Human Hair wigs. We cannot change the hairstyle of Human Hair wigs with cutting. We can add a “bang” or a fringe and thin and trim the pieces.
- Trimming back the lace front should it be necessary. Jon Renau’s wigs come with the lace front already cut. However, sometimes when the lace starts fraying we can save the wig by trimming the lace front back a little bit using specialised Jon Renau crimping shears.
- We can alter the wig cap and make it smaller. NOT bigger. We use a threading method with needle and thread which is temporary. The wig cap can be restored back to its original size. Should your client’s hair start growing back and need more space?
- In the past, we have also done “up styles”. Using toppers for ladies who would like their hair done up for special occasions like a wedding or a matric farewell dance.

- R150.00 incl VAT for all synthetic services as well as wig cap altering, including making the cap smaller.
- R300.00 for wash and blow-dry Human hair wig.
- Cutting and thinning are free on new wig purchases.
